AP Physics Summer Assignments
In order for you to prepare for a long and intense education on Physics, There are three assignments that you must complete for the summer.
1. Obtain and read the Cartoon Guide to Physics by Gonick and Huffman. I bought mine on Amazon, but it probably can be found at Borders, Barnes and Noble or through ebay and Booksamillion.com sites. It may be the best down-to-earth guide that I have seen to refresh your memories over the summer, as we will go through what you learned in Honors Physics in 2 weeks. Sometimes I wish that all physics books were written like this one…
1. Purchase the Princeton Review “Cracking the AP Physics B Exam” (costs <$15 on Amazon.com)
2. Read Chapter 1&2 – complete Chapter 2 Review Questions
3. Print and complete the 6 summer assignment worksheets. Completed worksheets due the first day of class.
